Experience the Traditional Japanese Culture of Taiko Drumming!
The traditional Japanese instrument, taiko drumming, can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders, even those with no prior music experience. This popular experience course can be enjoyed individually or as a group of up to 15 people, allowing you to experience it like a sport using your whole body! First, you will learn about the history and fun facts of taiko. After that, you can enjoy a demonstration by the instructor, followed by playing the taiko yourself.

The experience course is taught by a professional Japanese taiko drummer. Taiko drums have been traditionally used in festivals, kabuki performances, and have been a part of Japanese culture for over 1,200 years. Historically, taiko were used as a means of communicating with the gods, and before the Industrial Revolution, the drum was believed to be the only sound on earth that could reach the divine. You will also learn some basic knowledge about taiko. This course is open to people of all ages, genders, and nationalities, and even those with no prior musical experience can enjoy it!

Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade
The Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade stretches from north to south and is a central shopping and sightseeing spot in Osaka’s Minami area, popular among both domestic and international tourists. It features a wide variety of stores, ranging from fashion and gourmet shops to cafes and souvenir stores.

Tsutenkaku
